Job Summary
The Procurement Project Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day Procurement support for ABMs National eMobility and Electrical Infrastructure division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive vendor sourcing strategy, ensuring compliance to ABMs standards and processes, assessing and qualifying new subcontractors, negotiating, implementing and managing supplier contracts as well as financial and service level performance management of the supplier base.
Primary Responsibilities
* Partner with functional teams, adhering to appropriate corporate and procurement policies, internal controls and reporting
* Identify potential partners through business and industry resources
* Engage with potential partners & develop comprehensive partnerships agreements covering existing & future work
* Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors
* Monitor and track market trends and technology for consideration and evaluation by the eMobility team
* Evaluate the operational and financial feasibility of new vendor offerings
* Ensure that business proposals are financially viable
* Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations
* Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors

Additional Responsibilities
* Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them
* Review current vendors and analyze if they meet current company needs
* Organize and track all documentation between the company and vendors
* Resolve vendor disputes or issues quickly and efficiently
Minimum Requirements
Education, Required Skills & Competencies
* Proven experience working as a Strategic Sourcing/Vendor Manager within a large scale, established procurement team
* Experience within the Facilities, Construction, and /or Energy sectors preferred
* Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Relationship management across cross functional teams i.e., Legal, Operations, Field Support
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Must be able to work independently
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to multitask effectively
