Position Summary

The VIP Support Technician is responsible for the management of all tickets opened for the Executive Leadership Team at ABM. The technician will provide communications and updates to both the executive and IT leadership as to the status of open requests and coordinate technical efforts surrounding any break-fix activities. In addition, the technician will coordinate the procurement of any hardware or software requested by the executives, including placement of orders, estimated delivery times and shipping information.

The technician will have access to all the internal ABM IT resources to resolve tickets and issues quickly and efficiently.

Essential Duties

* Actively monitor the VIP support queue in ServiceNow.
* Confirm with the executives that issues are received, in process and managed through to completion.
* Solve technical issues directly if possible but coordinate with other internal resources as needed.
* Solution with the executive on all hardware/software requests, coordinating with other internal resources as needed for sizing, definitions and availability.
* Arrange for loaner/replacement equipment to be sent as needed.
* Traveling to the executives' homes or offices to perform repairs, installations and troubleshooting where appropriate.
* Provide continuous communication and updates to both the executive and IT Leadership as to the status of all requests.
* Working with internal support teams, continually review the VIP Support process for improvements and optimizations and assist with implementation.

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelors degree or better preferred.
* At least five years of technical support experience required.
* Experience with executive communications required.
* Must be able to travel when required (less than 20% anticipated).
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with common IT devices (laptop, desktop, tablet) and applications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Strong networking skills for troubleshooting in diverse environments (homes, hotels, etc).
* Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
