Job Summary:
Provides the leadership to efficiently and effectively launch key strategic and cross partnership programs. Creates, architects, embeds and manages, planning, implementation, governance, methodology and executional process across the business. Leads, through a team of experts, the work of the PMO and internal consulting organizations, ensuring consistency of modelling, planning, execution and output. This includes developing business planning, portfolio & analysis strategies, plans, and operational guidelines, to support effective portfolio execution and deliver more accurate and timely data-powered insights that can inform the business leaderships decision-making.
Develops and presents strategic, program, project, and business plans, including ROI, cost/benefit analysis, strategic roadmaps for various plans/ideas/products/services to executive leadership in order to gain approval to move forward with implementation plans.

Job Responsibilities:
* This role combines strategic perspective, strong problem solving skills, and disciplined implementation to lead a team to identify the strategic, operational, organizational, and financial levers that deliver rapid and dramatic growth and impact. Provides guidance and counsel in development of long range plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, work plans, timelines, and financial outcomes.
* Validates and oversees overall progress of the business portfolio with focus on implementation of enterprise wide initiatives, program and project management processes, methodologies, standards, tools and compliance. Assures business, processes, resources and tools are developed and utilized to assure successful implementation of the organizations programs and projects.
* Provides leadership for major strategic decisions in partnership with senior management. Works across appropriate businesses, support divisions, and internal/external partnerships to ensure that resources and objectives are aligned to deliver results.
* Shares highly complex information related to the business. Interacts with senior and executive management to align objectives. Transfers knowledge and collaborates across functional lines, departments, and external stakeholders. Interprets data, builds cross-functional processes and programs, builds and enhances key internal and external relationships.
* Owns all governance activities for the business unit; chairs key governance meetings as required with responsibility for agenda setting, execution management, and ensuring appropriate ownership of deliverables.
* Leverages a broad range of leadership and influencing styles, ranging from respected hard edged manager to motivational senior coach. Resolves high level conflicts by making broad decisions, or negotiating with affected executive management.
* Communicates portfolio, program and project status to key stakeholders, including but not limited to steering committees and senior executives. Provides consultation to Executive Strategy Group on program/project fit among programs and harmony with corporate strategy.
* Engages business leaders and partners regarding requirements to deliver on strategies and partner to shape scope for growth and change programs.
* Develops the operating budget, forecasts and manages the financials for the portfolio and performs financial analysis of all aspects of the department costs and operations. Works with leadership to understand and manage program costs, benefits and IRR.
* Influences the business investment and significant contract approval processes, works with Finance and Procurement and other stakeholders to ensure timely and controlled execution of approved spend and anticipated investment.
* Oversees and manages a team consisting of directors, senior managers, managers, program managers, project managers, professional staff and contractors and their performance for the organization. Maintains staff of available program management personnel to deploy to programs when needed. Effectively brings the appropriate internal and/or external resources together to form an effective and efficient project team.
