Systems Integration and Test Directorate (SI&T) incorporates actual hardware systems to strive on making a positive impact. Thriving on diversity of thought and innovative ideas. Our elite team integrates complex technology, debugging and resolving interface issues as we produce, demonstrate and deliver state-of-the-art hardware and software for areas including radars, command and control platforms, missile systems and cyber defense. As an integrator the selected candidate will learn the design principles of new systems by attending design reviews to determine their architecture, operations and interfaces. As a Systems Engineer, you will design specialized technical testing to demonstrate system performance to our customers. Opportunities for a systems engineer currently exist within SI&T's Battlefield Radar (BFR) Department in Fullerton, CA. BFR personnel execute integration, verification, validation, and sell-off for the Sentinel Radar programs with a primary focus on domestic and international radar systems.

In this center, you will perform various engineering activities such as:

* System integration test planning and execution
* Detailed performance analysis for system integration and verification, including the use of large scale modeling and simulations tools
* Support to test events, including flight test and field events, either in the US or internationally
* Technical support for deployed sensor systems
* Preparing and presenting results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders


Our teams contribute through all phases of the product development lifecycle (i.e. systems and software requirements, software integration and test, simulation and test, integration and test, verification and sell-off), within an interdisciplinary process that ensures the customer and warfighters needs are satisfied through every stage. This commitment to excellence can sometimes include opportunities for travel, and flexible hours/shifts in order to ensure programmatic milestones are met.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

* Support system level integration and test planning, design, and execution
* Prepare plans, procedures, and test cases
* Develop detailed integration and verification procedures
* Perform integration and test activities in house or at site locations

Qualifications You Must Have:

* Masters of Science or Masters of Arts degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
* Experience with MATLAB
* Must be either currently pursuing degree or degree must have been granted in the last 18 months
* The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

* Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering
* College coursework covering modern software languages (such as C, C++, or Java)
* Experience debugging electronic systems such as: radar systems that include data sensors, receivers/exciters
* Experience in test scripts and procedures such as: GPS, remote terminals
* ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
* Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
