Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, SOX Compliance will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work crossfunctionally and analytical capacity to the Corporate Sarbanes Oxley Compliance (SOX) team. The individual in this critical position will assist in the worldwide SOX compliance and account reconciliation application management oversite across 120+ locations. The position involves data analysis, system administration, travel (less than 5%), and communication with corporate, division and operation management and staff, as well as, both internal and external auditors.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Complete quarterly internal control (control) kickoff, monitoring, review and reporting
* Perform administrative functions within the Archer GRC and Oracle EPM ARC applications
* Lead annual control risk assessments and thirdparty service provider analysis
* Contribute to monthly SOX update meetings with key division and functional management
* Provide guidance and training for personnel regarding risks, processes, controls, control assessments and control deficiency root cause analysis and remediation
* Lead control walkthroughs with highrisk corporate, division and operation management
* Lead SOX integration and consolidation projects
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors as required
* Other job duties as assigned
Experience & Education
* BBA Accounting or Finance
* 35 years of public accounting experience or in a similar role within a public company
* Mastery of Microsoft Office and other technical business tools
Required Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English); ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization
* Analytical ability to perform complex spreadsheet analysis; e.g. lookups, pivots, macros, etc.
* Prior experience with Archer GRC and Oracle EPM product suite and/or similar system management
* Ability to effectively work on multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines
* Indepth knowledge of internal controls, SOX requirements, US GAAP and accounting policies; includes understanding of business process flows in a typical manufacturing entity
* Cando attitude, strong work ethic, collaborative working style, and high attention to detail
