Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Training Thread Lead. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Do you have systems engineering and Training experience? Or are you a Systems Engineer interested in learning about Training from an experienced team? What you will get to do:

The Training Thread Lead will own the portion of GBSD system requirements related to training, allocation of those requirements to unit level, R vs C, verification planning, analysis planning, and execution in a Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment. Significant customer coordination. Responsible for planning and executing the specialty engineering EMD SOW, proactively interfacing with other SE amp;I organizations and GBSD IPTs to ensure successful flow down and verification of requirements.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This role may be filled at the Principal or Sr. Principal band depending on experience.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years

BS degree in a STEM related field of study with 5 years of experience or a MS degree with 3 years of experience. PhD with 0 years of experience.

Ability to lead a Working Group of 6-10 engineers and manage a small support team

Strong Systems Engineering skills

Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to brief Segment, Program and Customer leadership

Experience in execution of one or more Specialty engineering disciplines

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with weapon systems

Experience with training

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Experience with Software and Agile Development
