Princ Engineer Systems ndash; T4 Program Secret Clearance Required
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking an experienced Princ Engineer Systems as part of the T4 Systems Engineering Integration amp; Test team in our Chandler, AZ office.
Role Description amp; Responsibilities:

* The candidate will serve as a Systems Engineer for the T4 Program requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.
* The candidate should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills to generate and document system level launch vehicle requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments and participate in system level verification/data review activities.
* The candidate is expected to regularly interface with program management, engineering staff and external customers.
* The candidate should be willing to occasionally work during odd hours (nights/weekends) and occasionally longer than normal ( gt;40 hrs/wk) to meet deadlines.
* The candidate should possess a strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously.
* Implement and manage system requirements in the Requirements Management databases (DOORS).
* Provides data for and assists in risk management (identifies potential risks) and trade study processes.
* Supports system design, data analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution.
* Supports the testing and/or evaluation/validation of one or more components of a system or subsystem analytical model or actual system implementation
* Prepares and presents materials for at program major milestone meetings.
* Manages cost accounts for systems engineering and mission scope of work

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.

* Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
* Candidate must have a DoD Secret level security clearance which generally requires US Citizenship as a prerequisite.
* Ability to travel is required ( lt;25%)

Preferred Qualifications:

* completion autonomously.

* A strong experienced-based and academic foundation in Systems Engineering fundamentals is desired.
* Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems LVBU Systems Engineering standards/guidelines and expectations is desired.
* Experience with external customer interfacing (meetings, presentation, negotiation) is desired.
* System testing and launch operations experience is desired.
* Experience with Agile, Jira, and Scrum is desired.
