Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manager Supply Chain 2 to join our team in Linthicum, MD.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
* Participates in various aspects of supply chain process areas: Supply Chain-Plan, Supply Chain-Source, Supply Chain-Make, Supply Chain-Deliver as well as Supply Chain-Operations.
* Exhibits end-to-end supply chain competency and manages one or more Supply Chain functions (Planning, Sourcing, Small Business/Disadvantaged Programs, Supplier Quality, Warehouse amp; Transportation, Analytics, Compliance, Systems, etc.).

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor 39;s Degree in business, operations, manufacturing, supply chain or other related discipline and 5+ years of industry experience in Global Supply Chain, Program or Project Management, Quality, Mission Assurance, Manufacturing or Operations
* Active Secret clearance required. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
* 3+ years of experience managing and/or leading teams.
* Demonstrated understanding of the program / product lifecycle in the areas of supply chain management, operations, inventory control, production control, product test amp; evaluation, root cause analysis, product sell off, shipping and product support.
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master rsquo;s degree in Business Administration.
* Defense Industry experience as a Program or Project Manager, Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Manager or Manufacturing Management
* TS/SCI clearance
* Experience with SAP
* Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt certification to drive continuous improvement
* Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills
