The Nike Connected Capabilities team is responsible for shaping the future of Nikes Partner Marketplace to better serve consumers through connected data and technology. Through the One Nike Marketplace strategy, we will enable our Connected Inventory and Connected Experiences team to know consumers better everywhere they shop! Our focus is to drive value out of data that has substantial benefit to Nike, our consumers and our partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Connected Data Manager will possess a comprehensive understanding of customer segmentation, acquisition and retention, retail and marketing metrics, buying, forecasting, and account management. You will know how these are used across functions to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for Nike to better serve consumers.

You have strong analytical and modeling skills to interpret consumer and sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business. You know how to operationalize a strategy in addition to designing and executing the operating model. You will have an understanding of how privacy and competition law regulations impact the way Nike uses consumer and partner/retail data.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Your day-to-day work will involve being a data steward and consumer advocate for our business! Developing the strategic framework and process to operationalize data to bring value for our consumers, partners and Nike will be a crucial responsibility. Recommending prioritizations for retail and consumer data, as well as providing consumer and industry benchmarks will also be a key component of this role.

You will drive a programmatic approach to test and learn the value of data across Marketing, Membership, Personalization and Planning in a very conservative privacy way. You will partner with cross functional partners to define use cases for data and business requirements as well as prioritize and introduce new tech solutions and capabilities to extract value from data.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Global Connected Data Director as part of the Connected Marketplace Capability team and work with a diverse group of partners including Marketing, Membership, Consumer Data Science, Personalization, Privacy, Legal, Analytics, Planning, Finance, and Digital Product.

WHAT YOU BRING

* MBA and/or Masters Degree preferred

* Ability to demystify measurement and translate data to a consumable, relatable narrative

* Understanding of consumers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred

* Proven knowledge of retail and marketing metrics and strong modeling skills

* Strong intuition for business and the ability to successfully navigate and influence various personalities within a complex business environment

* Strategy consulting background and data experience preferred

* Outstanding communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts to senior leaders and business audiences

* Ability to work cross functionally and in a matrix environment
