As part of the North America Brand Marketing organization, our team works x-functionally to activate marketing campaigns and programs that will help to propel the brand and the business into the future. Were responsible for planning and executing full-funnel paid media campaigns, all across the country, that encourage consumers to love sport and become athletes*. Collaborating with major media partners & agencies to develop innovative, industry leading media plans that drive awareness and create interest for Nikes most important products, services & experiences. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Were looking for an experienced paid media manager who is passionate about co-creating and driving a premier paid media program here at Nike!

The LA Integrated Media Manager role will play an integral role within the Nike LA Marketing team to help amplify the brand, via outstanding storytelling, and deliver results that drive growth in the local Los Angeles marketplace. Your submerge yourself into consumer insights, proficient on cutting edge media trends, implementing test plans for media campaigns and geeking out over data & key takeaways. You have a deep knowledge of the paid media & advertising space and use that experience to collaborate with creative, PR & brand management partners to develop elite media plans that align with holistic marketing plans.

The right candidate will have a strong understanding of the Los Angeles marketplace and a desire to activate Nike marketing plans that authentically connect with athletes* in the city. Bringing a clear understanding of sport & cultural trends in the area, a collaborative style & a passion for the swoosh to the team.

A proven background using qualitative and quantitative results to in actively leading media campaigns that deliver strong results!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, youll be establishing relationships across teams, media partners, creatives and our channel professionals to proactively develop new and outstanding approaches to build awareness/interest in Nike products, services & experiences. Helping to acquire new members & retain existing Nike members in the LA area.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of a multimillion-dollar media program, achieving target critical metrics for the brand and business. The LA Media Manager will lead all aspects of the creation of robust media programs that support the brand, Nike.com, Nike owned Apps, brick & mortar doors and wholesale partners. Using data and campaign insights to power recommendations and optimizations that drive towards continuous growth.

IN A TYPICAL WEEK YOU WOULD:
- Develop media campaigns, journeys and audience strategies designed to meet various objectives that are relevant to target audiences

- Serve as the media point person for Los Angeles marketing team, in partnership with our agency and campaign/channel managers, to build and communicate holistic and compelling marketing plans

- Work with internal and external teams to unlock 1st and 3rd party data to deliver highly targeted and relevant media programs to potential new members

- Investigate the weekly performance, to understand trends and identify successes and opportunities

- Partner with the Creative team to brief media asset requests based on industry and channel-right approaches.

- Build and deliver weekly media performance reports for key partners

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role reports into the City Media Director and partners closely with Integrated Media channel owners, campaign leads, and stores media managers to build media campaigns for priority seasonal campaigns. You will help lead multiple agency relationships, briefing in new campaigns, directing daily optimizations and reporting performance to internal teams.

The successful candidate will collaborate with key partners across Marketing, PR/Comms, Sports Marketing, Creative and Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) teams to deliver full funnel coordinated media plans that expose consumers to brand storytelling and products that inspires action.

WHAT YOU BRING
- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent

- 7-10 years of work experience in digital/online marketing

- Strong understanding of digital and direct response marketing across key channels including; Paid Social, Display, Search, Affiliates in an e-commerce setting required; experience at a multi-channel retailer and/or driving online-to-offline programs a strong plus

- Consistent track record with showing up boldly in paid media marketing - connecting consumers with brand innovation, experiences & content that encourages them to take action.

- Previous experience managing budgets and having a proven track record of delivering against sharp critical metrics, revenue goals, and return on ad spend.

- Strong analytical skills & comfort with getting your hands dirty investigating the numbers. Confirmed capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization required

- Experience working in a highly collaborative, and cross-functionally, investing in relationships across diverse brand, creative, business, media, and technical teams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including concepting and delivering presentations on complex business issues required
