WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As a Software Engineer on our Marketing Technology team, you will bring a broad experience of successfully ideating and delivering value that enables Nike to increase productivity, realize efficiencies and build profitable customer experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be responsible for building simple and intuitive APIs for a very large developer community within Nike. Interest and experience in the latest methodologies goes a long way here and we're looking for people who are passionate about the world of value-driven solution delivery. You'll get to work alongside truly talented teams and help them enhance their performance by promoting collaboration and innovation.

YOU WILL:
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment

- Work in true DevOps fashion leading the entire tech stack

- Solve big engineering challenges to serve our worldwide athletes* at scale

- Build Nikes data privacy vision for todays data driven world

- Grow and keep our APIs fast, efficient, available

- Collaborate with other amazing engineers

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- 5+ years of experience writing Restful APIs / microservices

- Significant experience writing software in JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js

- Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)

- Experience running NoSQL databases at scale

- Validated ability to produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration

- Experience developing Jenkins pipelines, Canary deployments

- Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes

- Hands on experience in AWS

- Strong communication skills and great product sense

- You have relevant professional experience or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, (or another relevant field) with good working knowledge of basic computer science data structures and algorithms.
