As our Footwear Graphic Designer II, you will combine your experience, problem solving abilities, and creativity to bring to life the seasonal creative narratives through graphic design that is trend relevant to the consumer across performance and lifestyle footwear. You will build original graphic and/or textile designs that appropriately reflect Nike's design ethos. The designs you build will be industry leading, trend right and will consistently incorporate consumer/athlete insights through powerful storytelling, emotional connectivity and relevance.

You will also proactively follow the execution of all product details, including providing the appropriate materials to designers, developers, account managers, and/or graphic separators for the creation of separations, embroidery, and trims. For textiles, you will produce textile repeats for production purposes. You will communicate and present design concepts; produce presentation materials in conjunction with design and activity teams that effectively communicates the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences.

This opportunity also involves working with design management and cross-functional team members in design, development, and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs by meeting cost/value requirements, merchandising needs, product creation deadlines, through the effective use of design tools.

* Requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience (Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 years; Masters + 4 years; Associates Degree + 6 years; High School + 7 years)
* 5 plus years of progressively technically sophisticated graphic design experience.
* Proven ability to apply and perform graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale, visual presentation development and layout that is supported by a portfolio of non-computer-based creative art and graphic design.
* Previous graphic design experience on product is preferred
* Knowledge of and sensitivity to trends influencing design in general, and the athletic industry specifically.
* Demonstrated high level of expertise using graphic design software.
* Strong oral and written communication skills in local market language, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
* Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
* Ability to work collaboratively with design teams, share ideas and develop effective responses.
* Proven ability to work in a constantly evolving, high-growth environment.
* Ability to lead multiple and challenging work priorities, demands, and changes.
* Travel 10%.
