Who we are looking for
We are looking a Transportation Strategy Manager to join Nike's North America Transportation and Trade Team! This person will have demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and understand financial models as well as experience managing complex cross-functional partner engagements, including facilitating workshops.
What you will work on
* Build the long-term NA Transportation strategy and capability roadmap, including support of the annual strategic planning activities
* Partner with leaders across NA Transportation to define, prioritize and sequence near-term and long-range initiatives and hand-off to the NA Transportation Strategy Capability Development team for implementation
* Develop business cases for large, strategic infrastructure and capability investment asks in alignment with Global Operations and Logistics guidelines
* Develop high-impact presentations to communicate the strategic plan, roadmap and initiatives to the broader NASC organization
* Strengthen the linkage between innovation, strategy, portfolio management and performance management
* Develop a plan and own the management of functional updates to support cross-functional business reviews (Quarterly Business Review, Quarterly Functional Review, Monthly Business Review, and others)
What you bring
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or related field
* Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred but not required
* Previous management consulting experience is highly preferred
* 5+ years of experience with supply chain, merchandizing, finance, sales or customer service
* 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, operations management, program leadership preferred
* Strong project management, problem structuring, and strategic problem-solving skills
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
* Great listening skills and openness for different viewpoints
* Strong presentation and influencing skills and the ability to interact with senior leadership
