The Revenue Cycle Management Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects taking them from original concept through final implementation; defining project scope and objectives, and developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Job Description
The Manager, Revenue Cycle is responsible for managing the AR for Self-Pay and makes sure patient statements are generated and distributed. This manager will report to the Director, Physician Practice - Patient Business Services.
Desired Skill Set:
* Minimum of 5yrs Revenue Cycle experience required
* Revenue Cycle leadership experience preferred
* Experience working in Billing and/or Collections highly preferred
* Experience working in Payment Posting, Underpayments or Refunds highly preferred
* Some call center experience helpful
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or a combination of relevant education/training and experience.
Licenses/Certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
* Minimum of five (5) years of revenue cycle experience, healthcare organization, healthcare IT, or consultancy setting, transforming revenue cycle processes to maximize realizable revenue, minimize denials, and accelerate cash flow.
* Experience across the revenue cycle continuum, including but not limited to: patient access management, payer remittance, denial management, patient collections, patient remittance posting, claim submission, contract management, and appeals.
* Experience and working knowledge of health system administrative and clinical applications.
* Experience leading work teams and managing multiple entry-level and experienced employees.
* Prior management experience in revenue cycle operations.
* Understanding of project management processes.
* Strong interpersonal, customer-oriented skills. Must have proven organizational skills with an ability to effectively prioritize present information publicly, and communicate in writing clearly, concisely, thoroughly, and accurately.
* Must have experience in working with computer software, and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, decision making skills, stress management skills and time management skills.

Principal Accountabilities
* Provides focus and direction of project and implementation activities of the revenue cycle in providing analysis, monitoring operations and/or developing and maintain the systems utilized in revenue cycle operations; develop policies, procedures and workflows related to revenue cycle functions.
* Interacts with the various departments that are impacted by the operations of revenue cycle management.
* Uses analytical approach to problem solving using quantified data and measurable results to reach sound conclusions
* Works collaboratively with all departments to ensure operational functions are aligned with strategic goals of the organization
* Builds trust and partnership amongst the team by enhancing engagement, addressing performance results and providing coaching and mentoring.
* Assist in the development of training programs/initiatives to enhance skills, knowledge and productivity of existing employees.
* Provides leadership to assigned projects.
* Assumes responsibility for the success of assigned projects or portions of projects.
* Communicate, collaborate and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
