Job Summary

Position is responsible for conducting complex investment analysis relating to funds, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance in areas of responsibility and supporting the team as needed.

Job Description

The Senior Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for building and managing relationships with custodian banks. They will also be responsible for performance reporting and auditing.

Desired Skill Set:

* Experience as investment fund manager
* Experienced Custodian preferred
* 3-5yrs experience preferred
* Experience working with a Foundation or college
* Must have advanced Excel skills - Pivot Tables, V Lookup
* Must be extremely organized
* Must have attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree; Masters of Business Administration and/or Chartered Financial Analyst preferred

Licenses/Certifications: (None)

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

* Three (3) years of experience in financial asset management (institutional preferred)
* Experience in the non-profit investment management space preferred (i.e., Universities, Endowments, Healthcare, etc.)
* Organized, strong attention to detail and ability to work with diverse teams
* Effective oral and written communication skills

Principal Accountabilities

* Investment fund manager due diligence.
* Ongoing internal reporting, including Investment Committee.
* Review of and ensure compliance with Investment Policy Statement.
* Monitor performance of investments and make recommendations on manager selections.
* Develop, implement and evaluate asset allocation strategies, with responsibility to ensure these successfully meet or exceed set financial goals.
* Partner with HR regarding the Defined Contribution plan fund alternatives and manager selections.
* Maintain performance monitoring system.
* Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
* Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
* Other duties as assigned.
