This requisition is for an Industrial Engineer Sr supporting the Training & Logistics Solutions (TLS) line of business for Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) company in Orlando, FL. This position will support the Production Operations organization in the manufacturing of cutting-edge military training and sustainment equipment that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
-Build capacity models and simulations that analyze production requirements and identify bottlenecks
-Conduct required work measurement, cost reduction, process/product flow analysis, and capacity utilization studies. Develop and assist team in executing modifications based on desired results
-Develop data visualizations and dashboards that reveal and highlight opportunities for improvements
-Create and lead the execution of excellence plans, lead data analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
-Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields
-May be required to develop cost estimates in support of proposals
- Lead team of IEs to execute improvements while utilizing Agile development methodologies

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years experience required with a related Masters degree.
-Process Improvement experience
-Self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results
-Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives
-Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science
-Proficient in Work Measurement and Labor Standard estimation
-Experience with Capacity Resource Planning, production system modeling, and simulation
-Experience using Tableau, R, Python, MATLAB or other analytics toolsets-Electro-mechanical manufacturing experience-Familiarity with SAP (Qnotes, Routings, Bills of material)-Lean Six Sigma
Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
