Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems' (RMS) Training and Logistics Solutions line of business is a leading industry provider of training and logistics support. The business develops programs that teach service men and women skills to accomplish their most challenging missions from flying the world's most advanced aircraft to navigating a convoy through an urban environment. With logistics, the business provides supply chain and asset management, complete life cycle solutions, as well as test and support equipment.

The Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Line of Business is seeking a Program Management Director of Maritime and Land Training Solutions (MLTS) to support our vision to save lives by accelerating mission readiness. Reporting to the Vice President of Training and Simulation Solutions, this position will be responsible for leading a portfolio of programs delivering products and services focused on training the army and navy of the US and allied nations.

This role will be responsible for setting portfolio growth strategy, driving program performance, advancing digital transformation, and delivering on financial commitments for Maritime and Land Training programs. Furthermore, the Director will also be responsible ensuring a culture of belonging, trust, and transparency for the direct and matrixed employees supporting the portfolio, maintain strong positive relationship with internal and external customers, while modeling our core values to do whats right, respect others and perform with excellence.

Position responsibilities include:

Deliver cost, schedule and technical performance of the Maritime and Land Training Solutions portfolio by achieving LRP and program commitments
Develop and implement the growth and technical strategic plan for the mission area
Implementing Digital Transformation throughout the mission area
Ensure customer intimacy that allows for rapid innovative and affordable product solutions to support 21 century warfare and JADO training missions
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management across the lifecycle of a program.
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to drive program performance
Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading diverse teams
Proven program strategic planning, proposal, and business pursuit experience
Proven capability in building effective customer relationships/customer intimacy
Strategic thought leader with proven experience executing growth strategies
Superior risk & opportunity management skills
Strong communication and executive presentation skills
Willing and able to travel, both domestic and international, as required
Ability to successfully partner with peers across Lockheed Martin Business Areas
Desired Skills:
US Army PEO STRI, NAWCTSD, USN, and ONR program office customer relationships
Experience with Other Transitional Authorities (OTA)
Experience managing programs with large sub-contractor content
Experience with FMS and DCS proposals and contracts
Experience in global army and navy training
Working knowledge of Defense acquisition process
