We're HIRING NOW for a Merchandising Specialist! This role is based at our beautiful Corporate offices in downtown Medford, OR.
Merchandising Specialist
The Merchandising Specialist provides expertise and best practice recommendations in regards to value-suggesting merchandising. This includes photography, vendors and technology for vehicles as well as parts.
The Merchandising Specialist reports to Manager, Website Support.
Responsibilities
* Recommend and set up pricing software and own training for individual dealerships
* Recommend and set up syndication vendors and own training for individual dealerships
* Develop auditing process for merchandising quality and communicate to Marketing Managers (field support)
* Set KPIs, develop improvement processes and monitor progress for dealerships with poor merchandising
* Enforce merchandising standards by working with dealership personnel, GVPs/SVPs and Marketing Managers
* Explore new technologies, hardware and software and educate Marketing Managers and dealership personnel
* Hold vendor partners accountable to pre-defined deliverables
* Act as tier I trouble-shooter for merchandising concerns and issues
* Keep management apprised of potential issues and opportunities
Skills and Qualifications
* Expertise on syndication vendors like vAuto, Homenet, FirstLook and others
* Knowledge and expertise on photography vendors like Dealer Specialties, Dealer Image Pro, Velocity, and others
* Deep understanding of feed set ups and syndication vendor partners
* Knowledge of merchandizing tools (e.g. Car Story, Carfax, Auto Check, Pure Cars etc.)
* Solid knowledge of photography merchandizing software like SpinCar, Flick Fusion, Flowfound and others
* General understanding of the reconditioning process at a dealership
* Knowledge of reconditioning aided software
* Organizational skills
* Self-driven
* Strong attention to detail
* Keen sense of urgency
* Excellent communication skills written and verbal
* Bachelors degree in Marketing or 5 years of relevant experience
* Automotive retail experience is a must
