SOVAH Health - Martinsville
Assists with training of new employees and acclimation to practice protocols. Provides clinical support to patients in the primary care clinic under the supervision of the physician. Provides continuity and coordination of care in the outpatient setting.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Current licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with clients, patients and their families. Neat in appearance and professional dress; Ability to work independently; Must be able to work flexible hours and off premises, including some travel. Must hold a current VA drivers license.

Current American Heart Association BLS Provider required.
