Job Description

The Honeywell Connected Infrastructure Automation Team currently consists of passionate engineers who strive to demonstrate excellence in the field of Software Development. We are not only responsible for the development of various Industrial services, but a large portion of the job is to innovate. The Automation Engineers are aligned with the development teams to create shared responsibility, ensure the proper tooling and automation is in place and to measure everything.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Support a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology and threat drivers.
* Using Infrastructure-As-Code and CI/CD pipelines to build out security related infra service catalog.
* Designing, building and managing large scale infrastructure in the cloud particularly Azure, including experience leveraging one or more coding languages for automation provisioning (Terraform, PowerShell and Ansible.)
* Linux, Windows and Kubernetes system understanding.
* Implement secure solutions with the primary tenants of Availability, Integrity and Confidentiality.
* Contributes to the development and maintenance of security architecture artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards and procedures).
* Serves as a security expert, helping project teams comply with enterprise security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
* Evaluates enterprise approved security architectures to ensure they align with business requirements.
* Review cloud security technologies, tools and services, and make recommendations to the broader DevOps team for their use, based on security, financial and operational metrics.
* Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security-planning advice.
* Coordinate with DevOps teams to advocate secure scripting practices.
* Liaise with other security personnel and security practitioners to share best practices and insights.
* Analyzes business impact and exposure, based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks.
* Communicates security risks and solutions to corporate security partners and DevOps teams.
* Must have a desire for gaining new knowledge, behaviors and skills. Builds on and applies existing knowledge. Engages in learning from others, inside and outside the organization. Tries new approaches and broadens the scope of work to learn from work assignments.
* 10% travel may be required (domestic and/or international).

YOU MUST HAVE:

* Bachelor of Science degree
* 5 years experience in a security field
* 5 years of scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible in a cloud environment

WE VALUE:

* AWS, Azure Certification is a plus
* Professional security management certification, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or other similar credentials
* Strong conceptual thinking and communication skills the ability to conceptualize complex business and technical requirements into comprehensible models and templates.
* Business enabling perspective, with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles, including vendors, IT and business personnel.
* Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to obtain Security clearance within the U.S.
* Ability to communicate and transfer knowledge clearly and effectively in both technical and non-technical manners.
