With Risk, Information Security and Compliance (RISC) being the second line of defense, it is our goal to provide employees with the proper information and guidance to best execute their first-line responsibilities.u00A0u00A0 RISC Shared Services has positioned itself to help bridge the gap between the corporate RISC functions and the ever-expanding business arms of FIS.u00A0 To best accomplish this responsibility, RISC Shared Services is broken down into four groups: Analytics & Insights, PMO, Reporting, and Systems Automation.
What you will be doing:
This position will be the lead technician and support for our server and database environment in support of the RISC Shared Services teams.
RISC Shared Services Reporting provides accurate and auditable reports, built in a control framework that are focused on control, policy, and compliance, in support of the board and senior management, from a Microsoft SSDT environment using tabular cubes and direct query.
* Installing and Upgrading the database server and application tool
* Allocating system storage and planning storage requirements for the database system
* Modifying the database structure as necessary from information given by application developers
* Enrolling users and maintaining system security
* Ensuring compliance with database vendor license agreement
* Controlling and monitoring user access to database
* Monitoring and optimizing the performance of database
* Planning for backup and recovery of database information
* Maintaining archived data
* Backing up and restoring databases
* Contacting database vendor for technical support
* Generating various reports by querying from database as needed
* Managing and monitoring data replication
What you bring:
* MS SQL Database Administration experience
* Windows 2016 Server Administration experience
* Experience developing and implementing ETLs and APIs between data sources
* Knowledge of database best practices for standardization and normalization
* Microsoft DDST experience, especially SSIS and SSAS
* Power BI and DAX
Added bonus if you have:
* RSA Archer Experience
* UNIX/LINUX Administration
* VMWare Experience
* T-SQL, U-SQL and other flavors of SQL
* Experience with Cloud services, particularly Azure and Amazon
* M language in Excel Power Query
