About the team
The FIS Government Solutions team (EBT) owns and manages a product called ebtEDGESM which is a full-fledged Electronic Benefit Transfer solution that helps US u00A0States to manage their EBT program to distribute Food and Cash benefits to underprivileged citizens. This product has multiple components built and maintained on various technologies and continuously being enhanced to meet the Customer needs as well as the current industry trends ,practices and regulations. Our development and support teams leverages both agile and waterfall models to develop and deploy applications into Customer environments.
What you will be doing
* Support an HP nonstop application that has 100s of thousands of end users.
* Production support / 24 X 7 on- call support u00A0as needed
* Installation of code, config ,set up tools into production and DR Systems.
* Work closely with the Customer and proactive approach towards resolving issues
* Querying of data from the database as required for data analysis
What you bring:
Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science, information technology or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
* Experience in supporting HP Nonstop applications and operations.
* Proficient in Pathway servers ,Netbatch , Nonstop SQLu00A0 and Enscribe
* Excellent SQL querying skills
* Experience in the role of Production support / 24 X 7 on- call / DevOps in supporting an application used by 1000s of users.
