About the team
The AIOPS team addresses the AIML and Automation needs of our Operations organizationu2026.u00A0 The team works directly with internal clients to build, test, and make production ready our innovative solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings across the organization using current automation and AIML best practice.u00A0 The team is a dynamic group of AIML, Automation, and operations SMEu2019s working together to evolve and mature the CIO Operations function.
What you will be doing
The candidate for this role will work closely with program leadership to plan and coordinate key project deliverables to achieve expectations and highlight project successu2026Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills will be required to navigate the complex technical and structural processes at FIS.
u2022 Plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.
u2022 Manages project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed.
u2022 Ensures requirements for internal technology projects align to operational standards. Develops alternate requirements or document exceptions as appropriate.
u2022 Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
u2022 Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles.
u2022 Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope..
What you bring:
Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.
u2022 Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
u2022 Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines
u2022 Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
u2022 Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members
u2022 Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
