POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Technology Solutions Architect partners with Human Resources (HR) and business leadership to develop and maintain a HR technology roadmap that drives operational efficiencies, solves critical business challenges, and drives a positive employee experience while applying industry best practices and technology. The HR Technology Solutions Architect is a key thought leader and subject matter expert on technology and processes supporting HR needs and relevant solutions. Responsibilities include advocacy and support of the enterprise HRT strategies, analysis of the current HR technology ecosystem looking for critical deficiencies and recommendation of innovative solutions for improvement, and development of strategies aligning technology solutions to HRs business objectives. This role provides guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Owns and maintains the solution and technology ecosystem and the strategic backlog for capabilities
* Serves as the primary liaison between various teams (HR functional partners, HR product owners, IT partners, and vendors) leveraging their expertise and experience with HR systems
* Develops cross-functional relationships and collaborates with stakeholders and technical experts to identify technology solutions to identified business challenges in relation to current and future technology landscape
* Provides strategic consultation to HR business partners and other stakeholders by advising on options, risks, Identifying tradeoffs and prioritization of solutions
* Maps business processes to HR business processes, identifies strategies, risks, and options when gaps are identified, recommends technology-based approaches and mitigations to meet business requirements while staying consistent with core architecture
* Leads end to end project activities, including requirements gathering, project work plans, documentation, solution design, technical configuration, test development, and related deployment activities in support of multiple work streams
* Drives the implementation of new technology solutions, methodologies and programs, and the optimization of current HR technology platforms
* Advocates and drives adoption of best practices to ensure standardization of solution architecture outputs across the company and enterprise
* Researches emerging HR platforms, practices, and technologies and analyzes industry benchmarks/data for possible recommendation, selection and implementation/integration into our ecosystem
* Applies a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the business
* Captures capabilities and business features, then decomposes those business features into business benefits and acceptance criteria
* Provides frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work that is in progress
* All other duties as needed or required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
* 6+ years supporting Core HR & Payroll, Workforce Management, and/or Talent Management systems
* 3+ years project management leadership experience including ability to manage various work streams
* 2+ years experience with Agile development (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) and within an agile project team (either agile by definition or agile in ability to perform cross-functional tasks quickly)
* Experience interacting with solution and technology vendors
* Experience working with Workday
* Preferred experience working with Kronos, SAP/SuccessFactors, ADP
