Customer Service Representatives
As an energy advisor you will resolve inbound telephone and/or electronic inquiries in a timely manner. This position will give you exposure to the evolving energy industry working independently and, in a team setting. Work hours:
The selected candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during the training period. After the training period, candidates will be moved to a shift position which may include evenings, nights, and/or weekends. There are a variety of shifts available. Only candidates interested in this 24hour Call Center environment need apply.
At Eversource, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service. Every employee has emergency responsibilities that require us to be there for our customers when they need us the most. Our Contact Centers operate 365 days, 24 hours a day, to support our customers in times of inclement weather, higher call volume or other major events. Contact Center representatives are expected to participate in on call, extended hours or mandatory overtime to meet the needs of our customers.
Training hours:
Applicants must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm during the training period. After successful completion of the training period, employees will be moved to a shift position.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The salary for this position will be $43,600 on an annual basis with three (3) weeks of vacation the first year. This amount will be prorated if you are starting after April 1, 2021.
Position requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Must have at least 1 year of experience in a customer-related environment. Candidates with college degrees who do not have customer-related experience will be considered. Must pass pre-employment skills testing Must pass background and drug screening
The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Physical Aspects:
Ability to multi task utilizing multiple screens and systems concurrently. Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the working hours each work day. During COVID-19 many of our employees have the opportunity to work from home. The same physical aspects apply for both home and office locations.

In 2012, Northeast Utilities and its operating companies Connecticut Light & Power, Public Service of New Hampshire, Western Massachusetts Electric and Yankee Gas merged with NSTAR Electric & Gas to better serve New England.
On December 4, 2017, Eversource closed the deal on an acquisition of Aquarion Water Company, making Eversource the only electric company in the U.S. that also owns a water utility. Aquarion serves 230,000 water customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
