DevOps Engineer Skills and responsibilities:

* Terraform (IaaS) and/or Deployment Manager experience, docker experience is a plus
* Bash scripting experience and working knowledge JavaScript and nodejs, python is a plus
* Creating serverless functions and use of message queuing technologies
* Implementation and understanding of Continuation Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows
* Has worked within an Agile environment & good understanding of system and Application lifecycle processes
* Ability to coordinate promotion of code and data within Release train between system environments
* Monitor changes and events within the system and coordinate action to remediate or address within application/system lifecycle.
* Establish appropriate log, system controls and performance monitoring to ensure performance efficiency, optimization of resources, align cost savings and alignment to regulatory requirements
* Interact with other roles to provide courses of action and implement solutions to business goals and challenges based on customer strategy and feedback.

Technical Skills:

* Core Terraform Skills: ( Should be hands-on and experience on the below)
* Infra as a Code Deploy Infra, Security & Standardisation
* Execution Plans, Resource Graphs, Change Automation, Provisioners
* Cloud Native Services
* HasiCorp Configuration Knowledge(HCL)
* Full Stack Deployment
* DevSecOps with Terraform
* Terraform for Azure and AWS
* Experiecne in Orchestration tools like - Puppet and Ansible
* Containers Docker and Kubernetes, Scripting Python, PowerShel and BASH
* Data Integration JSON and XML , Agile tools JIRA
* Source code and binary management GitHub and Artifactory
* Strong experience in automation & orchestration based on native cloud services
* CI/CD, Testing automation with frameworks such as robots
* Good to have experience in UI development, cloud native security and DB SQL commands

Key experience requirements:

* Deep understanding of one of the Cloud Platforms - AWS, Azure, Google, web services / APIs
* Coding/scripting experience in Python, Perl and PowerShell
* Experience with Git, GitHub, and automated testing with Jenkins
* Hands on experience in developing scalable infrastructure and platform services
* Well versed with build & release automation and used continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
* Hands on experience using configuration management tools GitHub and Artifactory
* Used JIRA, for task management bug tracking and Change Management.
* Extensive hands on experience in DevOps tasks which include and not limited to building, configuring and deployments to many servers using configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible and other technologies.
* Expertise in generating test harness scripts and writing build scripts for many projects.
* Prepared Test Plan Specifications and conducted Unit, System, System Integration and End to End Testing.
* Has experience in building Kubernetes based technology.

Certifiactions ( Good to have)

* HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate
* Cloud Certifications AWS/Azure/Google/Kubernates
