Job Summary:

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, assists with various tasks and duties in the HR department including recruiting, interviewing, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

* Assists with recruitment process to include posting jobs, resume screening, interviewing applicants, and scheduling onsite interviews with managers.
* Community recruitment events to include job fairs and establishing relationships with local schools and colleges.
* Onboarding of new hires and processing of new hire paperwork.
* Conduct new hire orientations. This includes the monitoring and tracking of orientation for all new employees to ensure all facets are completed in a timely manner.
* Document and maintain HR polices and procedures.

Education Requirements:

* High School diploma required.
* College Sophomore status or equivalent pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.

Experience Requirements:

* Previous experience with recruitment, leave administration, safety compliance, and benefit administration a plus.
* Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
* Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
* Strong attention to detail required.
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills are required, and must be able to work with minimal direct supervision.
* Must maintain confidentiality of information.
* Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
