Position Objectives
Provide strategic leadership direction and tactical HR support to Maag Americas Management and oversee multi-site HR responsibility for all Maag entities in the US. Manage HR Operations, implementation of Maag global HR strategy and Dover HR initiatives. Support global human resources continuous improvement best practice with the global HR team.
Position Description
* Serve as HR functional leader in the Americas region and ensure highest degree of quality providing all tactical HR services and supporting implementation of global HR strategy
* Lead small US Human Resources team and part of the Maag Global Human Resources team
* Lead HR related M&A activities, due diligence and integration activities for the US.
* Provide coaching and strong change management support.
* Build and foster an effective working relationship with employees, supervisors, managers.
* Strengthen the organization recruiting and developing strong talent and talent pools.
* Support the development and implementation of consistent country & global HR initiatives, practices, policies and programs that are aligned to the Maag/Dover HR goals and strategies.
* Work with the Maag HR team to develop employee management processes and implement within the scope of responsibility (e.g. hiring, training, compensation and benefits, promotions, OD, HR communications, performance reviews, terminations, metrics, etc...).
* Actively support all relevant HR system strategy and ensure delivery of a comprehensive high quality range of HR services and automation of consistent processes regionally/globally (e.g ADP payroll, SuccessFactors / HR Central, etc.).
* Assess and implement country back office structure including options for Maag / Dover Fluids / Dover shared services.
* Develop process for continuous improvement and reporting metrics.
* Establish annual goals and budgets for the Human Resources Department in line with Maag Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & strategy.
* Assists with other strategic projects and duties as assigned.
* Maintain compliance with federal and local regulations concerning employment. Manage with legal counsel any employment & labor law litigation and charges
* Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity; manage sensitive issues, anticipate and resolve HR issues/conflicts expeditiously and discretely

Work Environment
Primarily in an office environment with some time spent in a direct manufacturing environment. PPE required in manufacturing areas.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with focus in HR or other related required.
Professional Experience
* 7+ years of progressive tactical and strategic HR experience and 5+ years Labor Relations experience
* In-depth knowledge on US labor regulations / compliance
* Strong change & project management skills
* High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

* Local caniddates preferred.
