Summary:
Responsible for developing and implementing the long-term strategy for Company business information technology infrastructure, including all systems, processes, applications, controls and security. This position is also responsible for creating the vision about how information, technology, communications, and back office automation will be used to further the businesses. This is a hands-on leadership role, whereby the selected candidate is expected to be personally involved in the agile development and support of identified business solutions while ensuring global alignment to long-term DPC and Dover IT strategy and vision, in particular, at all DPC globally.
Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, vision, and management to the IT organization in a matrixed environment.
* Influence others through collaboration and active communication.
* Be an active member of the DPC Finance and IT leadership team. Support the Dover Precision Components organization with vision and strategy, partnering with Dovers IT leadership team, representing the needs of all DPC business units.
* Lead transition of local Operating Company service delivery to a Dover Shared Service environment.
* Coordinate IT resources to deliver key Corporate initiatives such as new HR systems, financial reporting/consolidation, and other IT-supported projects.
* Define an IT applications strategy centered on the Infor CloudSuite Industrial platform and develop a strategic applications roadmap supporting the business needs and aligned with Dovers overall direction.
* Manage the change process within the IT organization, for example, ensuring IT resource coordination, ongoing support of legacy systems, etc. during the transition to Shared Services and digital project implementations.
* Design an IT support process, organization structure, and ongoing system management strategy that aligns with business strategy.
* In partnership with Dover IT Vendor Management Office, work with supplier-partners (Infor and other Dover partners) to understand evolving technology and recommend upgrades, enhancements, and new modules for the global systems environment.
* Develop and implement the strategy for how information technology will be used to support and protect global business interests. Assess IT implications of the business strategy, identify opportunities to further meet business needs, and design solutions.
* Ensure compliance with NIST and CMMC controls
* Work with Internal Audit and Corporate IT to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect systems and information.
* Establish the systems and processes to ensure business continuity in the event of natural disasters, system failures, and other events which could disrupt businesses.
* Ensure that the IT organization has the right talent with the necessary skills to deliver the IT strategy and service level expectations. Ensure that IT resources are optimally located to support a growing global organization.
* Oversee the due diligence and integration of acquisitions, and the separation of divestitures.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field; Masters degree preferred.
Experience:
Accomplished IT leader with eight to ten years of progressive experience in Information technology and a minimum of five years IT leadership/management experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Demonstrated experience with strong leadership skills in a global, matrixed environment
* Experience in a global business context with manufacturing, sales, engineering, marketing and finance
* Strong IT and Applications background with a focus on ERP implementations and support
* Microsoft CRM and Qlik Sense BI experience preferred
* Extensive knowledge and experience with DoD regulations, NIST, ITAR, and CMMC compliance
* Strong Project Management skills
* Analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to drive and lead change collaboratively in a matrixed environment
* M&A experience is preferred
* Broad knowledge of information technology processing systems, concepts, and methodologies
* General knowledge of IT infrastructure: LAN/WAN, Infrastructure Architecture, Firewalls, Security
* General knowledge of Windows & Linux clients and server technologies, including virtualization
* Highly service-oriented; reliable, responsible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
