Job Description
STUDIO DIRECTOR JOB DUTIES
Reports to the Studio Director.
Oversees the daily studio operations, manages all studio staff (in-house and talent).
Assists the Studio Director with Personnel Management.
Acts as a back up to the Studio Director.
Monitors daily studio reports Active in Studio, Expected in Studio, Merchandise Tag Scan and report concerns to the Studio Director.
Ensures that the merchandise entering the studio flows properly to each stage of the process from prep to completion.
Maintains a big-picture understanding of the workload on each set.
Has the authority to reprioritize a shoot or shift work/a model from one set to another and communicate this direction to the sets.
Acts as coordinator for product sets.
Ensures workload is being completed while meeting goals and priorities.
Liaises with ecommerce and creative groups to resolve questions from the product sets.
Enters schedules for hourly staff
Books approved talent for Ecom and Advertising shoots based on direction from Studio Director and production needs.
Reconciles talent invoices and logs expenses for Budgeting Director.
Monitors overall studio conditions to ensure that all areas are clean, organized and safe.
Communicates any issues or concerns pertaining to talent to the booking agent.
Maintains a positive working relationship with talent, agencies, and freelance.
Maintains a strong knowledge of Dillards brand and creative standards. Ensures that work produced, meets these standards. Educates staff so all team members involved in the creative and production processes also understand these standards.
