How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Accurately monitor and process refunds, commissions, invoices, and promotions with effective loss prevention procedures. Collect funds from customers' outstanding accounts while positively promoting Delta Vacations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

* Enter, update, monitor, and report promotional certificates and promotion discounts. Apply promotional discounts ensuring that the conditions for the promotion are met.
* Verify and send refund and commission checks.
* Enter and record invoices for in-house account receivables.
* Contact customers and travel agencies regarding past due receivable accounts and send past due account statements.
* File and monitor payment statements and contact accounts as needed.
* Research credit card disputes and contact customers to collect payments as appropriate.
* Monitor travel agency closings and analyze payment ability.
* Work with collection agencies and update accounts as payments are received.
* Process, update, and refund credit vouchers as needed.
* Process credit card transmissions and acknowledgements.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

* 1 year DLV Reservations experience required.
* Knowledge of DLV Inc.s programs, policies, procedures and reservations systems required.
* Must demonstrate strong customer service skills and judgment with the ability to effectively and professionally communicate to management, staff and customers.
* Knowledge of the PC including MS Word and Excel helpful with accurate keyboarding skills required.
* Strong mathematical aptitude required.
* Proven reliable and committed by maintaining excellent attendance, performance, self-motivation and goal attainment.
* Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles
* Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
* High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency

* Travel certificate and/or degree helpful.
