This position is for a Service Center Technician II on 2nd shift who is under general supervision. The successful candidate will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Works under general supervision to service/repair/modify avionics equipment.

* Performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, & repairing avionics equipment.

* Conducts technical analysis of product, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer requirements.

* Soldering fine pitch and SMD components.

* Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.

* Utilizes a good understanding of electronic theory to effect timely repairs.

* Ability to troubleshoot technical problems down to component level.

* Demonstrates organizational and time management skills.

* Very good attention to detail.

* Performs service duties strictly by way of authorized documentation only.

* Good note taking ability.

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

* Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder

Preferred Qualifications:

* SAP knowledge a plus

* FAA Part 145 knowledge a plus

* Software Aptitude a plus
