JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing general support and administrative functions for the Capital Markets group.
Scope: Focus on either/or:
\- a small specialty group
\- additional support to a large vertical or specialty group within Capital Markets
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs day-to-day administrative support tasks for the department including but not limited to: typing, formatting and producing documents and reports, distributing correspondence, preparing and maintaining files and arranging meetings.
Assists with Capital Markets administration deliverables (i.e. meeting minutes, budget tracking, schedule updates, marketing information, etc.).
Assists with project tracking by updating project logs, task lists and resource allocations as requested; prepares standard project status reports for Capital Markets department, client and management; reports typically include: status update, budget, schedule and risk.
Creates and maintains library of a wide variety of template, company-sanctioned marketing materials that may include maps, advertisements, demographic reports, and executive summary brochures for in-house and client presentations using advanced desktop, graphic, and mapping software.
May perform administrative duties specific to department such as, conducting research, updating databases, and preparing collateral marketing materials for mass mailings and communication.
Interfaces with sales professionals, department staff, etc. regarding marketing and client requirements; gathers necessary information to complete marketing tasks; works with stakeholders on appropriate methodology on creation of marketing and presentation materials.
Assists with projects as needed.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 2 years related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Experience with desktop, graphics, and presentation software and technology preferred.
