Job Description:
The Global Sustainable Finance Group (GSFG) collaborates across BofAs all eight lines of business and strategic enterprise including the ESG and Public Policy teams to (a) provide data transparency, (b) expand and (c) innovate BofAs Sustainable Finance activities.
Sustainable Finance aims to mobilize and scale financial capital and human innovation to accelerate financings to companies and projects that are aligned with the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Our effort will focus on a subset of the 17 UN SDG goals including the following two segments:
* Environmental Transition: address climate change and resource / waste management
* Inclusive Development: promote community development, affordable housing, financial inclusion and gender equality
The team is seeking to hire an MD or Director who will be working on deal execution across multiple transactions and supporting day-to-day dialogue with clients.
Role:
* Analyze model preparation, financial analysis, client pitch book preparation, and credit / risk analysis
* Lead the development of key materials for senior management discussions
* Lead research efforts in topics, such as Hydrogen, Fuel Cells, New Energy Tech, Water
* Assist on gathering and developing data and information to analyze size, composition and trajectory of the markets, whether by region, by product or by client type
* Utilize business intelligence work to provide management with peer tracking activity and insights, resourcing, revenues, assets/capital and profitability as well as strengths and gaps across products, regions and clients, etc.
* Key skills include: attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners, and ability to articulate independent risk views
Qualifications:
* Understanding of corporate finance, tax, accounting and regulatory rules
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong credit analysis and assessment capabilities
