Sr. Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking - Combined BB and MM Coverage
Bank of America is looking for a Sr. Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Banking Combined Coverage Banking team, which serves public and private companies with annual revenues up to $2B. The Senior Relationship Manager (Sr. RM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial banking clients who require financial services and products to meet their needs. In addition to being the primary point of contact and key financial advisor for the client, the Sr. RM is accountable for prospecting new business and deepening existing relationships. The Sr. RM will have the ability to engage in dialogue with CEO and CFO levels regarding the clients industry, strategic planning and capital and working capital needs. The Sr. RM is also responsible for leading, directing and coordinating key extended team members in the effective delivery of bank products and services to clients and prospects. The Sr. RM is expected to network in the community with key leaders and centers of influence. The Sr. RM will have solid credit skills; successful experience in managing complex transactions; excels at client management success factors; demonstrates leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior associates.
Position may be filled as a Sr. Relationship Manager or a Relationship Manager, depending on experience and qualifications.
Required Skills
o Proven track record of prospecting new business and management of an extensive portfolio of clients with complex needs.
o 5 10+ years Commercial Lending, Business Development, Commercial Credit and Portfolio Management experience in the business banking or middle market sector
o Proven sales skills and experience. Must be able to assess and analyze financial conditions of clients and the industry trends. Ability to understand and interpret financial statements.
o Ability to think strategically and demonstrates executive presence.
o Series 7, 63 license optional.
