Job Description:
The individual will be part of Data Protection Solutions team. As an experienced Mainframe developer he/she should be able to efficiently handle existing processes that were developed to facilitate seeding and sanitization of release environments. He/She should also be able to develop new processes using either EZETRIEVE/SAS. The developer requires a high level of analytical and an in-depth knowledge of database structures, data warehouse configuration, methodology, design, and modeling. The candidate would be required to analyze new application areas and develop strategies for on boarding to CDS. The Candidate should have strong verbal communication to facilitate and lead discussions with clients .The developers typical duties includes but not limited to designing and building mainframe processes, and procedures using Mainframe Utilities, performing analysis, tuning and optimization on very large (multi-terabyte) databases and working with external application SMEs to develop new processes.
Responsibilities:
Develop/Build new processes using EZETRIEVE/SAS on IBM Mainframes
Supports new CDS Initiatives and POCs
Support the annual Data Refresh activities from production and seeding of IR/IC envts
Provide support to Integrated, Independent and Product Support Testing environments
Development and execution of DB2 & IMS unload and load utilities from production or other test envts.
Loading of Subset DB2 & IMS tables from DR region to SIT, UAT and Prod-support regions.
Involved in Preparing Technical Design based on Functional Design, Project Plans , WBS.
Preparation of Unit Test Plan and System Test plan and carrying out unit, CIT and SIT testing.
Supporting system test batch cycles and working on data related issues
Developing and maintaining standards, common processes and best practices.
Create quality documentations (Design, Unit test plans , Operations Guide).
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of IBM Mainframe exposure using Cobol,JCL,Cobol,EZETRIEVE,SAS,DB2,IMS
Good knowledge on MF file structures along with RDMS.
Exposure to sanitization or data masking techniques
Experienced in working with IMS and DB2 databases
Familiarity with Integrated and Independent Release management testing processes
Ability to drive and lead project calls
Should have good communications skills.

Solid understanding of SDLC techniques
Exposure to application maintenance and support.

Demonstrated experience in financial legacy system
