Position Summary:
Accountable for Account Executive Team, having both renewal/retention and new business goals. Responsible for the combined functions of the development and successful acquisition on new business revenue from new and existing clients and providing a high level of client service to assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* May provide customer service support to the largest and/or most complex clients.
* Develops and implements the function's policies and procedures and its operating plans.
* Anticipates and provides solutions to the most complex business, operations, and customer service problems.
* Provides leadership to Managers, Supervisors, and/or senior professional staff.
* Directs plan of action to achieve department goals
A communication consulting leadership position that operates at a senior client level where strategic discussions take place. Strong people management skills are also essential to ensure future personal development of the team. This position is regarded by the client as an expert and trusted advisor. He/she will advise our clients across strategic, conceptual and executional projects, across our entire communication proposition, ensuring the highest quality of communication solutions are developed and delivered for their portfolio of clients. He/She will lead a team and be responsible for delivering a significant portion of client revenue. In addition, they will be a trusted and senior member of the Client Services Team. Client Delivery:
Drive long term client planning.
Actively work with Senior Consultants to drive client activity, initiating strategic and tactical solutions that are commercially creative for both clients and Gallagher.
Provide the highest standard of service to clients and to ensure effective ways of working and efficiency.
Provide overarching accountability for client service, standards and operational efficiency for a portfolio of client accounts delivered by Project team.
Regularly review market developments and industry trends and identify potential opportunities.
Senior client stakeholder management, consultancy and challenge.
Supporting communication ROI measurement, learnings, analytics and insights.
Additional responsibilities include: Development of team capability Financial reporting Support identified new business pitches. Accountability for the financial performance of their portfolio and team. Business development Gallagher collaboration, events and cross-solving.
Required:
* Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required
* Excellent knowledge of the insurance brokerage business
Preferred:
* Professional designation such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
* Excellent sales capabilities
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Track record of competitive success
