Job Summary:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Autonomous Driving Algorithm Developer in our Troy, MI location. The successful candidate will develop robust, real-time scene perception algorithms, where the key challenge is to model the environment and identify the threat of relevant objects for advanced ADAS/AD features.
Your Role:
* Algorithm development including: Road-model Estimation, Target Selection and other Scene Perception algorithms
* Optimization for real-time implementation
* Algorithm and Software design in MATLAB, Simulink and C/C++
* Data analysis to assess and correct performance deficiencies
* Validate and assess algorithm performance on real and synthetic data
* Support on-road testing and data collection efforts
* Support project and development teams (Software, Integration, ADAS/AD Feature development and System Testing) on perception algorithms troubleshooting
Your Background:
* Masters degree in Controls/Robotics/Computer Science Engineering or relevant field
* 3+ years of hands on experience in:
* design and development of advanced algorithms
* design and development of embedded Software in automotive production programs
* 3+ years of hands on experience in programming with:
* MATLAB
* SIMULINK
* C/C++
* Hands on experience in:
* optimization, statistics, advanced control theory (SISO/MIMO, optimal, adaptive and predictive control)
* system identification and state estimation theory (i.e. linear and extended Kalman filter, particle filter)
* State/Parameter Estimation, Target Tracking, Evidential Reasoning, Optimal Path-planning or Situational Assessment
* Object Tracking, Sensor Fusion, Perception or ADAS feature algorithm development in automotive production programs
