Data AI and Platform & Systems (DAPS) org is dedicated for building the data and finance platform of the future unlocking future capabilities to service the complex needs of our travel partners, customers and suppliers. Our mission is to power reliable, trustworthy and scalable data products, that fuel decision-making and give a competitive advantage to Expedia Group.

As a software developer in Commerce Data and Finance Systems (CDFS) team within DAPS, you will be instrumental in building API first driven solutions that are flexible and scalable enough to meet the demands of our strategic growth initiatives across the B2B Finance landscape.

What youll do:

* Play a major role in the analysis, design and development of applications in Oracle e-Business suite, with a primary focus on solutions for financial events.
* Responsible for developing and successfully delivering components. Additionally, you will also improve, support and follow Expedia SDLC.
* Collaborate with business, developers and testers to produce efficient and scalable solutions.
* Focus on improving development and architecture standards by adopting industry standard methodologies.
* Showcase ability to multi-task while ensuring high quality of results and have dedication to high standards of code quality and testing.
* Demonstrate experience to work through/around blocking events and deploy complex yet elegant and efficient solutions.

Who you are:

* Possess at least 3 years of working experience in developing solutions in Oracle R12 Procure to Pay Financials modules.
* Strong database engineer with hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming, ability to write and tune SQL queries for data analysis, and having good understanding of RDBMS.
* Experience in Oracle tools like Form, Report, Workflow and BI Publisher. Frontend and UI tools such as OAF, ADF and Web ADI skills, are preferred.
* Experience in Java programming in developing RESTful Web Services using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot etc., is preferred.
* Experience in building applications on cloud platform such as AWS, is highly preferred.
* Familiar with microservice design, continuous delivery, automated deployments, and related engineering practices.
* Effectively communicate with others in a courteous, thoughtful and professional manner and demonstrate multi-tasking ability for orchestrating multiple activities at a time.
