Job Description

Base rate = $25.05. Over $7 additional per hour available via Pay for Skill program. Likely increase $1.40/hr within first 90 days.

Paid weekly (on Fridays).

If awarded, position comes with FULL benefits package: Medical, Prescription, Dental, Disability, 401K, Pension. Maximum annual out of pocket for medical is $2,000 for Family coverage.

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

* Perform job with utmost Caution and Safety.
* Repairs and maintains all assigned equipment.
* Able to troubleshoot machinery, analyze, and implement corrective procedures.
* Able to use all tools, machines, and diagnostic equipment associated with job.
* Position will also be required to participate in AMD, overhaul and PM planning work.
* Follow plant and department safety rules and procedures.
* Completes work and machine documentation as assigned.
* Create and close out own work orders and add specs info to SAP system.
* Control inventory parts and write requisitions using the SAP system.
* Perform operations backfill as required
* Accept daily direction from Process Improvement Tech, Cell Planner, and/or Crew Coordinator
* Responsible for Food Safety & Quality
* Regular, reliable attendance is necessary
* Performs other duties as required

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

* Demonstrated Excellent Safety Performance. Accident/Incident-free behavior preferred.

Ability to function in a team environment with initiative and self-motivation is necessary. Position requires demonstrated communication skills to interface with management, maintenance and production employees. Strong mechanical aptitude/experience. Electrical background, including working knowledge of solid state controls, PLCs, motor controls and PI&D controls. Manual lifting required. Working knowledge and experience in:

* Hydraulics & Pneumatics
* Plumbing & pipe fitting (including high pressure steam, ammonia, refrigeration)
* Mechanical assemblies (gearboxes, drives etc)
* Layout and fabrication includes heli-arc, stick, and gas welding ability
* Preventive maintenance and repair of robot
* Basic electrical knowledge (3 phase, breakers, schematic reading, etc.)
