Performs new patient intake/assessment services for the Behavioral Health Department. Evaluates patients referred for treatment to determine appropriateness for admission. Works closely with on-call providers and nursing staff. Works under supervision of department leadership. A certain degree of critical thinking and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or director. Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health field from an accredited school with license or Nursing Degree from an accredited school with license is required. Minimum of one year working experience in the Behavioral Health field, acute psychiatric preferred.
