The Strategy Associate will be focused on new growth initiatives supported by best practices and competitive intelligence. This position will collaborate with multiple departments to create an engaging competitive intelligence program that creates real time benefits to the organization
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Support strategy development in collaboration with business/ market owners to identify key business issues, articulate problem, apply right analytical framework
Develops and recommends solutions through research and analysis of competitive intelligence and represent findings to stakeholders
Keeps current on industry news, specifically as it relates to behavioral health, so Genoa Healthcare can be strategically position in the market
Conduct competitor and market analyses to support strategic business development, including research projects and analytical / financial modeling to support ad-hoc analysis
Build and analyze financial data and assist with financial forecasting to support long-term business planning
Perform day-to-day operational analysis to support other teams in the business - including Sales, Finance, and Marketing building strong peer relationships
Proven track-record in data analysis, pulling from multiple sources and problem solving, building structured presentations for executive leadership
Educational or Skills Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related demonstrable business concentration
3+ years relevant experience in strategy or analysis/business operations
Strong Financial acumen
Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
Self-sufficient and able to take initiative for projects
Strong communication skills in management, acquisition targets, and key customer interface
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Detailed understanding of financial statement mechanics and business valuation theory
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal or large group presentations
Excellent organizational skills due to changing priorities change in direction on major projects and sudden client awards
Experience working with peer team leaders to gain agreement on important client needs or issues to gain consensus on solutions for those needs
Comfortable / thrives in fast paced, matrixed, ever changing and dynamic environment
Flexibility to work extended hours and travel may be required on short notice
