This position is responsible for operating a specific piece of equipment in an assigned area for efficient production while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time on concrete floors and the ability to move throughout the hatchery to perform required tasks. Requires: Must be willing and able to push or pull full egg racks weighing 800 1,000lbs. Must be willing and able to reach over head to slide full rows of egg racks from the buggy, carry to setter, and slide to correct position. Ability to withstand hot and humid work conditions ranging between 75-85 degrees. To ensure the safety of all Team Members, a respiratory fitness assessment will be required to qualify to wear a full -face respirator to comply with Tysons formaldehyde safety program. Will be required to: monitor, operate, and adjust precise incubation and HVAC equipment. Accurately collect data such as chick counts, ventilation readings, and temperatures and input correctly into the Plant View data collection system. Start up, shut down, and clean the tray wash machine to clean chick boxes. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
