General Purpose of Position
* The Sales Development Representative 1 plays a critical role in identifying, developing, and qualifying leads to help drive the growth of technology companies public sector business.
* Summary of Essential Job Functions
* Conduct lead generation activities via call campaigns to uncover new business opportunities for technology companies
* Execute sales activities in alignment to SDR 1 KPIs and metrics
* Prospect, call, set up and confirm meetings between technology companies and government customers
* Document all calls and other sales activities and customer/technology company interaction in company CRM SMaRT, and create and link to appropriate opportunities in the system
* Execute and adhere to DLT Lead Pass documentation and submission process
* Establish and maintain ongoing business relationships with technology company reps, channel partner reps, and government customers to grow DLT contact database and overall public sector network
* Meet and exceed established performance goals
* Other duties as assigned to meet company objectives
Minimum Qualifications
* Education: College Degree or equivalent work or military experience
* Experience(s): 0-2 years of sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Business or marketing internship experience
* Experience in sales or business environment
* Experience selling technology products or services
* Experience using CRM
