In this role as a Director, you will work closely with the Head of U.S. Real Estate Investment Banking to manage and grow current client relationships and establish new business opportunities. You will play a key role overseeing potential advisory and capital markets transactions and creation of related presentation materials. You will assist with idea development and client coverage efforts, including collaborating with colleagues across the bank to provide comprehensive solutions.

Is this role right for you? You will be responsible for:

* Preparing presentation materials for use in client meetings, working collaboratively with teams in equity and debt capital markets, M&A, and corporate banking
* Performing financial analysis/modeling, including discounted cash flow, leverage buyout, comparable companies and transactions, and net asset value
* Developing client relationships, and cultivate new business opportunities including generation and evaluation of M&A opportunities and potential capital markets transactions
* Assisting clients in strategic review analysis including evaluation of potential acquisitions or divestitures
* Performing and executing transaction due diligence
* Playing a key role in the training, development and coaching of junior staff

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

* A relevant bachelors degree and an excellent academic and professional record
* MBA or CFA (preferred)
* A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in Investment Banking or Mergers & Acquisitions
* Experience in real estate (preferred)
* Series 79 & 63 licenses
* Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting and financial theory
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
* Well-developed organizational skills in order to respond to shifting priorities on multiple projects
* Strong presentation skills
* A high level of attention to detail
* The ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines
* The ability to perform effectively in a team environment
* A demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations
