Responsibilitiesn

This role will lead a 150 person direct to consumer phone sales team. Team is made up of registered advisors who are accountable for both education and sales activities for the IRA business. You will lead two major centers in Des Moines and Charlotte with some team members distributed in remote locations across the US.

* Provide direction to leaders on appropriate Direct-to-Consumer solutions and services primarily provided telephonically.n
* Develop a sales centric talent profile for recruiting and coaching approach for your leaders to implement with financial counselors.n
* Creating and implementing on long term strategic goals utilizing new capabilities and technologies for better efficiencies and hitting sales goals.nn

Qualificationsnn
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 10+ years work related experience on a sales team required (leadership in call center sales for a regulated product preferred).n
* Must have previous leadership experience including multiple site locations or work remotely.n
* FINRA Series 7, Series 63/65 OR Series 66, and Series 24 required within 6 months. n
* Resident State Insurance License.n
* Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) required within 24 months of employment.n
* Strong financial services industry knowledge, excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and oral and written communication skills.n
* Critical to possess a high degree of personal accountability and ability to empower and influence others.n
* Demonstrated commitment to holding yourself and others to a high degree of integrity, building and sustaining strong partnerships with leadership, peers and colleagues.n
* Must be adaptable to change and able to work independently with limited information and direction.n
* Some travel may be required (10%).n
* Solid understanding of our competition and the securities industry required.n
* CFP preferred.n
