Role Summary: The Digital Capital Manager is responsible for the financial management of the Digital Capital and Cloud Computing Arrangement (CCA) portfolio for the Digital organization. Provide support for the annual budget process, the monthly financial forecast and the quarterly financial submissions for Digital Capital and CCA. Ensure the accuracy, quality and timeliness of the capital and CCA reporting to be utilized by multiple levels of management to optimize the Digital Capital spend. Monitor, track and proactively report financial performance, identifying variances, opportunities and risks to support the overall Digital portfolio strategy and investments.
Role Responsibilities:
* Manage the monthly portfolio financial forecast process including the reconciliation of actual spend, leading the forecasting process and producing monthly financial reporting
* During the month-end close process, work directly with the Portfolio teams during the time sensitive monthly close process ensuring the accuracy of financial data and all accounting deadlines are met
* Prepare monthly financial results, financial projections and analyses for multiple levels of management
* Lead and support the development of the annual Capital and CCA budget via a robust prioritization process and multiple management reviews to ensure a balanced portfolio
* Manage and apply the prioritization scoring model across the capital and CCA portfolio on an annual and on-going review basis to continually refine and optimize the capital spend
* Lead the financial forecast update process for the quarterly submission process to Finance working directly with Enabling Finance and the Portfolio teams
* Manage the capital and CCA governance process within the portfolio management system
* Plan and participate in the monthly portfolio director meetings developing the agenda, preparing capital financial results and coordinating relevant topics across the portfolio team
* Participate on the financial portfolio workstream team providing guidance and recommendations for on-going key enhancements to the portfolio financial process and systems
* Provide insightful financial/analytical support for key business decisions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree required (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred)
* 7+ years of experience
* Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
* Excellent oral, written and overall communication and presentation skills
* Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner
* Advanced experience using Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
* EST location required due to significant monthly volume of regular meetings and contacts with numerous colleagues in the EST time zone
* Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
