The Demand Accelerator will help PepsiCo provide our customers cutting edge data and insights, as well as, personalized solutions to drive incremental growth for both our customers and PepsiCo.

This Category Management Associate Manager position reports to the Beverages Sr Category Manager, located in Minneapolis, MN. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership in the application of analytics and syndicated data to drive actionable insight for Target. This person will be accountable for assessing and analyzing business performance to identify opportunities and develop strategic business priorities for a Target Captaincy. This person will be experienced at integrating relevant knowledge for maximum insight with the ability to translate into actionable recommendations.

Key Accountabilities:

Proactively identify and lead category management initiatives in the Beverages portfolio with Target, driving category growth while increasing PepsiCo's sales and profits.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with Target's buyers through objective insight development and presentation.
Manage and leverage multiple data sources (e.g. IRI, Domo, Market Track, RSi, VIQ, etc.) to monitor and diagnose brand & business issues, identify information needs, and make actionable recommendations.
Leverage data and insights to develop optimized space and assortment strategies, and work with key partners to execute POGs
Support PepsiCo's Target Beverage Team to develop plans that help attain Target/PepsiCo's annual objectives and goals through analytics and insights.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide key insights to drive strategy and growth.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required
3+ years of experience within Category Management and/or business analytics position
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: able to interpret data and trends, as well as identify and address root causes with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills: able to tailor written and verbal messaging to drive understanding across a variety of audiences
Ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external partners to influence and drive results
Strong organization skills: capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated experience using Syndicated Data and Panel via IRI and/or Nielsen
Demonstrated experience using Customer POS Data ie VendorIQ, DOMO, and RSi
Must be proficient with PowerPoint and Excel
Understanding and application of space management tools ie JDA/Apollo
Target experience preferred
This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
