As a Production Technologist on our team, you will assemble, test and troubleshoot our revolutionary sensor products and ensure the proper operation of our test and calibration equipment.
* Planning and conducting production testing of Parker LORD products.
* Board level electronic troubleshooting and rework of normal production sensors as well as customer returned material
* Troubleshooting and maintenance of testing and calibration equipment.
* Assisting Engineering in transitioning new designs into production, including documentation of assembly and test procedures.
* Assisting Engineering in carrying out ECO's (Engineering Change Orders) on existing product design
* A fantastic team-first attitude, an easy going manner and generally a team player who enjoys working with others.
* High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience, or Associates degree in a technical discipline, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 1 year experience in a laboratory or industrial environment.
* Time management skills and ability to work well in a fast moving team environment.
* Ability to read a schematic and PC board layout.
* Proficiency in soldering and working with miniature electronic components.
* Experience in debugging electronic circuits.
* Proficiency in the use of electronic test equipment such as volt meters and o-scopes.
* Willingness to learn new tools and skills
* Ability / willingness to learn and carry out a diverse range of technical tasks.
* Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed.
