We are currently looking for a candidate with experince in cloud native architecture spefically around messaging technoligies. This includes use of streaming (Kafka) in addition to queue semantics, push notifications, and general eventing constructs. These solutions will be used by our enterpise SaaS product offerings. Part of the key challanges are in assisting in moving from a monolith to microservices architecture in the cloud. Additionally, bursty and stateful use cases overlaying these domain areas tend to add a level of complexity that can challenge even those with deep experience and requires someone skilled in being able to dig into the use cases to ensure any net new offering is both scalable and solves the right level of the solution architure's intended abstraction. Given this, you will be responsible for defining the architecture, standards and best practices for how Fusion Applications developers will move away from an architecture that relies on durable and ephermeral messaging constructs that provides performant and resilient processes based on a microservice architecture with distributed databases and BASE transactions. You will be responsible for identifying and building the infrastructure needed to support this transition.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
